Full description
I designed and developed a full-stack construction management platform for a residential construction company.
The goal of the system was to replace scattered manual processes with a structured application for managing construction projects, budgeting, reporting, and day-to-day business operations. The platform helped the company keep project information, financial data, operational records, and business workflows in one coherent system.
I built the backend using Laravel, designing the database schema, REST APIs, authentication, business logic, and integration points. The backend covered project lifecycle management, budgeting, operational records, reporting workflows, and user-facing application data.
On the frontend side, I implemented the application using Vue.js, building interfaces for working with construction projects, entering and reviewing business operations, viewing reports, and managing structured project data.
A major part of the work was translating real business processes into a clear software model. Construction management involves many practical details: projects, expenses, budgets, clients, operations, reporting, notifications, and different user roles. I worked across the full stack to make these workflows understandable, usable, and maintainable.
I also dockerized the application and established a reproducible development and deployment environment, making the project easier to run, maintain, and evolve.
This project demonstrates my ability to build business software from scratch: understanding operational needs, designing the data model, implementing backend and frontend functionality, and taking ownership of the system as a complete product rather than a collection of isolated features.
